An inner city garden backing on to Llanishen Reservoir gradually establishing with something of interest and colour all year-round. Herbaceous borders, vegetables and fruit plants surround central lawn. Wildlife friendly; variety of climbers and exotics. In front shrubs and herbaceous borders to a lawn. Stepping stones leading to children's play area and vegetable plot also at the back.
Refreshments: Light refreshments. Cakes & South Asian savouries (e.g. samosa, chick pea chaat) available.

There are many gardens to visit in this small friendly village, all with something different to offer. Displays of vegetables and fruit in the community garden, gardens with exuberant planting providing yearlong interest, wildlife ponds, chickens and a mini vineyard. There will also be plants for sale and refreshments in the different gardens. There are many restful and beautiful areas to sit and relax.

The Caerphilly Miners Community Centre - Climate Change Garden
Watford Road, Caerphilly, Mid Glamorgan, CF83 1BJ
Sunday 7th July
A climate change garden promoting carbon reduction, biodiversity, health and wellbeing. The front garden has a mini stumpery, wildlife pond planted to encourage sustainability in all weathers and attract local fauna. The aim is a beautiful palette of year-round colour which inc a clematis covered gazebo, cut flower and wildflower borders. A drought resistant rear garden planted with grasses and perennials is being created.
Refreshments: Home-made teas. Coffee and cakes will also be available at the garden.
