April speaker report

Our speaker for April was Mark Ashton,
a very successful grower and shower of dahlias. 

Mark produced a colourful slideshow of all the types of dahlias, and explained in detail the differences between each group. He also give us tips on growing dahlias and brought along some rooted cuttings, 3 of which he kindly gave us as raffle prizes, with the remainder available to buy. 

It was a really turnout for this popular subject and we thank everyone who came. In particular, a big thank you to Mark and we'll welcome him back in November when he'll be giving us an illustrated talk on trips around the shows.
