There are many gardens to visit in the village, all with something different to offer. Displays of vegetables and fruit in the community garden, gardens with exuberant planting providing yearlong interest, wildlife ponds, chickens and a mini vineyard There will also be plants for sale and refreshments in the different gardens.

Uplands

Gwern-y-Steeple, Peterston Super Ely, South Glamorgan, CF5 6LG

Uplands has a rustic heart within a cottage garden design. The front is vegetables and currant bushes. The back was planted in 2019, on once all grass. There are four main herbaceous borders, young fruit trees, ornamental grasses, ferns, shrubs and roses, with many places to relax and enjoy the garden.

Mature, medium size suburban garden with working greenhouse. Stepping stone pond, pergola, summerhouse and veg patch, that feels like it’s set in the countryside. Organically and mindfully gardened where the hand of the gardener is lightly applied, serendipitous self seeding is encouraged and wildlife welcomed.
