May Guest Speaker Report

This month our speaker was the ever entertaining Kevin Thomas, with a talk on summer in the garden. Kevin showed us a variety of photographs of perennials, bedding plants, hanging baskets and pots along with imagery from gardens around the country to give us inspiration of what can be achieved. 

Over 50 people were in attendance - our best turn out for a long while, and everyone enjoyed perusing the plants Kevin had to sell. In fact, the talk was so full of information that Kevin didn't even have time for his usual legendary joke at the end! 

Our thanks as always to the committee, to all of those in attendance and of course to Kevin himself. 

Please note: From our June speaker onward, members will continue to be able to attend for free, but non members will be charged £1 for entry to our talks. If you are a member, please remember to bring your membership card along with you.
