February Coach Trip Report
Our first trip of 2023 headed west to the National Botanic Garden of Wales where we received a very warm welcome.
The garden was beginning to wake up from its winter slumber and there were areas of snowdrops and early daffodils to enjoy, together with the dome which showcases the largest collection of Mediterranean plants in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Japanese garden combines three different traditional Japanese style gardens; the pond-and-hill garden, the dry garden and the tea garden, each style celebrating the changing seasons in different ways. This garden is tranquil, calming and beautiful at any time of the year.
Quite a few new faces joined us on this trip and we hope they enjoyed the day. We look forward to welcoming them on future trips.
As always, our thanks to everyone who came and to Pencoed Travel for their excellent service.
