NGS x Woodland Trust

In 2020 the National Garden Scheme announced a partnership with the Woodland Trust aimed at protecting a wider understanding and appreciation of trees both in a wild and domestic garden setting.

Among the thousands of gardens that open for the NGS, there are over 150 where trees form a significant part of focus of their design. There are also 16 national collections of trees that open under the scheme with many close to Woodland Trust woods which provide the perfect combined visitor experience.

Many garden owners are the custodians of national tree collections, champion trees, arboreta, woodland and orchards meaning the National Garden Scheme has a wealth of case studies and information for gardeners and garden visitors alike.

Visit the NGS website for more information and plethora of resources to enjoy.
