Virtual Summer Show Submission Deadline - Tomorrow!!
Unfortunately due to current Welsh Government advice we are unable to host our summer show in person again this year. Whilst we are disappointed not to see you all in person again we are preparing for and looking forward to another virtual show to be held online on our website.
This year we are asking for contributions from as many society members as possible to be showcased in one spectacular on August 21st. If you have a winning recipe for welsh cakes or you know the secret to prize winning vegetables we want to hear from you! If you want to send in snaps of what you've been growing in the garden, share your memories of the last year and how horticulture has helped you or relive some of the shows you've attended we want it all.
The virtual show will include some of the best bits from our usual summer celebration including the talks we've so dearly missed, where we could have been on our trips and some of the resources we gain as an RHS affiliated society.
Much like the society can only run due to the dedication and hard work of our committee and volunteers, the virtual show can only be a success if everyone is willing to give it a go and share something to be enjoyed by all. Please do send anything and everything, all submissions are gratefully recieved.
All submissions are to be emailed to llantwitmajorhortsoc@gmail.com by August 1st or can be posted/popped through the letterbox of Gwennan Rees, 6 Cwrt Yr Iolo, Flemingston, CF62 4QH.
