10 Places to Visit Safely This Month

As more and more places open up after lockdown, we've selected a few local sights you can enjoy again safely....

1. The house might be closed for now but Dyffryn gardens is open and welcoming visitors with pre booked tickets. Buy yours here!

2. Take a wander around Bute Park and grab yourself a hot drink to takeaway from one of the cafe's on site. Read more on what facilities are open here.

3. Lots of facilities have reopened in Margam Park including the beautiful Orangery Gardens. Book your visit here.

4. Closer to home, Rosedew Farm in Llantwit have opened a Maize Maze and a Sunflower walk, the proceeds from which are going to charity. Read more here or visit their Facebook page for latest info. 

5. Looking for a change of scenery and some sea air? Why not take the dog or get out the bikes and head out over Cardiff Bay Barrage

6. Cardiff Castle is still closed but the garden and green space in the middle is open for visitors to enjoy, catch up and have some food and drink. Read more on the reopening here!

7. No need to pre book Tredegar house visits if you want to enjoy the splendour of the parklands, just remember to get your tickets ahead of time if you want to see the formal gardens. 

8. Cowbridge Physic Garden is open with social distancing measures in place. Head down on a Thursday for the plant sales! 

9. Caerphilly Castle is open Wednesdays - Sundays for visitors to explore. Buy your tickets online up to 24 hrs before you visit. 

10. And if you fancy travelling further afield, Picton Castle & Gardens in Pembrokeshire is open daily with social distanced tours of the Castle available. More details here.
